Fresh Fall Fashion

With fall just around the corner, these last few weeks of summer can make it difficult to get it right. Here are a couple girls who know how to make the transition from summer to fall a fashionable one.

It's inspiring to see the use of fall colors in this cool, sleeveless smock. The addition of her blush, round sunglasses tie the 60's inspired look all together. Couldn't you just see her walking the streets of New York on her way to Andy Warhol's 'factory'?

This student took advantage of the cool end of summer and combined it with the first days of the fall semester at FSU. This is also a great example of how to make something ordinary your own. She took a man's shirt, cropped it, and added a feminine floral fabric around the neck for a collegiate summer to fall look. By pairing this loose airy shirt and summer shoes with a light wash skinny jean and fall messenger bag she completed the overall look.

What do you think about these looks? And how do you make the transition?

Street Style

School for all us college kids has started and the first week has been hectic already! But don't think we forgot about you. Fashion is always around us and a new street style posts are coming soon. Here's a little something to tease you that we just couldn't wait to post.

As I walked out of class, a glistening caught my eye. I took a closer look and saw some surprising earrings. This studded gage is a great way to combine femininity with edge in one great look. We applaud this fresh take on accessories and encourage others to take note. Always keep your eye out for that special something and its always a good idea to collaborate your favorite things to make it your own.

Coincidence? I think not...

It may be time for some home improvement, Sagittarius. Even if your living space is in tip-top shape, it would be a good idea to spruce things up a bit. Think about adding some color or some unique pieces that add greater character to your environment. With just a bit of paint and an flea market find or two you can create a whole new feeling at home. This would be an excellent change for you now, because you need to be more enthused about your life, and starting each day in an inspiring setting will really help you to get more motivated.

So spot-on...

"I am my own experiment...

So my fellow freedom fighter and I are moving into a new house for this coming school year and we are all a tizzy for decorating. We see this as a major opportunity to mesh fashion trends with living space. Don't be afraid to use and mix prints you might not normally wear together and be daring with your color combinations. Let your surrounding be your inspiration. We fully plan on letting you in on all the before and after deets, but we won't be able to show you for about week so until then here are a few of our inspirations.

Tell us what you think! :)
